Macaroni Review ~ DANCING PROS: LIVE

I went to see DANCING PROS: LIVE at The Buell last night, and from here forward *my* dancing will need to be done behind closed doors. Seriously, the moves that these professional dancers pulled off during the show were amazing. They were graceful, fluid, and sexy…unlike yours truly.

  

If you watch the TV show “Dancing with the Stars” you will definitely recognize some of the dancers and judges in DANCING PROS: LIVE (Karina Smirnoff, Edyta Sliwinska and Chelsie Hightower). The costumes were sparkly - some more than others - and the choreography was top-notch, as you would expect. Some of the dance numbers were accompanied by a live singer, Angel Taylor from “The Voice,” who even did an Adele song justice. 

At the end of the competition each audience member uses a touch-pad to vote for the winning couple. It was really hard to choose, but I guess I know a champion when I see one because MY couple won the trophy. Woot-woot!

 

DANCING PROS: LIVE is hosted by Alan Thicke. (Remember him from “Growing Pains?”) He was a little cheesy, but I’m pretty sure it was on purpose; so I just groaned at his jokes, along with the rest of the audience. 

   

DANCING PROS: LIVE is definitely appropriate for all ages. The show will be at the Buell for two more shows (today and tonight), so hurry and get your tickets right away!
