Arts HUB Presenting "The Little Mermaid Jr" and "Finding Nemo Kids"

The Arts HUB proudly presents its spring productions by their after-school theater program students - Showstoppers and Rising Stars. 

The 10-16-year-old Showstoppers will perform The Little Mermaid, Jr. from May 9-12, and the Rising Stars, a program for 6-10-year-olds, will stage Finding Nemo Kids May 16-19. 


Shows are open to the public and an excellent way for young children to experience theater!



Based on one of Hans Christian Andersen's most beloved stories, Disney's The Little Mermaid JR. is an enchanting look at the sacrifices we all make for love and acceptance.

Disney’s Finding Nemo KIDS is a 30-minute musical adaptation of the beloved 2003 Pixar movie, with new music by award-winning songwriting team Kristen Anderson-Lopez and Robert Lopez.

Some fun facts about Showstoppers and Rising Stars group:

  • Shows created by the children, for children.
  • Students had the rare opportunity to work with theater professionals, who directed the show and designed and built their sets, costumes, props, etc.
  • Shows are the result of intensive, semester-long workshops in which the students rehearsed together 2-3 times a week for four months.
  • Theater-based education teaches students valuable life skills, such as empathy, creative thinking, public speaking, confidence, and teamwork.
