Northglenn Announces Family-Favorite Summer Events 2022

The City of Northglenn is bringing back some of their annual family favorite events this summer. Be sure to mark your calendar for these exciting opportunities.


πŸš› Food Truck Carnival | May 13-15th

After a two-year hiatus, the Food Truck Carnival is coming back for it's fifth year! The event will take place at EB Rains Park and Civic Center Campus near the new Northglenn Rec Center. The event is FREE to attend. Ride tickets are $3-$6 or guests can purchase all-day carnival passes for $35. Learn more here.


🎻 Colorado Symphony: Mendelssohn's Octet | May 19

The String Octet in E-flat major, Op. 20, was written by the 16-year-old Felix Mendelssohn during the fall of 1825. Written for four violins, two violas, and two cellos, this work created a new chamber music genre. Conrad Wilson summarizes: "Its youthful verve, brilliance and perfection make it one of the miracles of nineteenth-century music." Learn more and get tickets here.


🎢 Summer Concert Series | June 1st - July 6th

The 2022 free concert series will take place Wednesday nights at 6:30 pm at EB Rains Jr. Memorial Park. Food trucks will be on site with delicious food and beverages for your family picnic. Learn more here.

🎡 Sass, Swingin' and Standards featuring Marion Powers | June 3

Enjoy an evening of classic jazz tunes including familiar standards and a revisioning of songs created by Colorado Jazz Repertory Orchestra artistic director, Drew Zaremba. Vocalist Marion Powers is a six-time Down Beat Award-winning jazz vocalist whose dynamic improvisation skill, and fresh and modern arranging style, keep her in high demand from coast to coast. πŸ›Ά Northglenn Paddle & Run | June 4th

Located at EB Rains Jr Memorial Park, this sporting event includes a 2-mile run, half-mile kayak trip around Webster Lake, and an additional 2-mile run. Athletes may participate as individuals or as a two-person team. Learn more here.


🌊 NEW! Bubble Fest | June 11th

Does your child love BUBBLES? Bubble Fest is the ultimate free family event combining bubbles, science activities, arts and crafts and our spectacular foam zone... all while millions of bubbles fill the sky. Learn more here.


🎡 IndianRaga @ the Rockies | June 11th

Northglenn Arts in collaboration with the Colorado Fine Arts Association presents IndianRaga, the premier contemporary eastern classical music and dance company showcasing 9 artists performing unique presentations. Learn more and get tickets here.


🧸 Teddy Bear Picnic | June 16th

This annual gathering in June is fun for kids and their favorite stuffed pals! Bring along a blanket to sit on and your own picnic snack while enjoying live entertainment in the park. This is a FREE community event. Learn more here.


πŸŽ† July 4th Celebration | July 4th

Celebrate America's birthday at the July 4th Festival in EB Rains Jr. Memorial Park. Some call the event the cities largest family picnic as families and friends bring out their blankets and picnic baskets to get a great seat for the annual fireworks program. Learn more here.

The 2021 free summer movie series will take place Wednesday nights July 7-28 at E.B. Rains Jr. Memorial Park.  Movies include Onward, Black Panther, Ferris Bueller's Day Off, and Wonder Woman. Learn more here.

🎡 Hot Latin Jazz, Celebrating the Music of Cuba and Brazil! | July 15th

Colorado Jazz Repertory Orchestra Sextet presents an evening of sizzling jazz featuring the music of Cuba and Brazil! The concert features some of the finest jazz musicians in the area and will honor the history and heritage of these culturally rich countries. Learn more and get tickets here.


πŸ’ƒ New! Dancing Through the Decades | August 19th

Dance the night away in your favorite attire from the 70’s, 80’s and 90’s. Each decade will be celebrated with an hour of music and costume contests with cash prizes.
