😎 Is it officially summer break yet? What a school year this has been, I'm sure everyone is relieved for it to be over! This summer will be a little more normal than last summer at least, and we'll be here to help you get out there and enjoy it! Next week we'll publish our Summer Fun Guide filled with splash pads, local swimming holes, farmers markets, and more!
🏖️ We had a fantastic trip to the Sand Dunes last week. The creek was flowing and the kids loved climbing up the sand dunes every day. My daughter and husband climbed all the way to the top this year, which was a pretty cool achievement for both of them! The creek should be flowing through mid-June and I highly recommend a visit. Know that lines can form at the entrance on the weekends now that school is out, either get there early (8am) or be prepared to wait 60-90 minutes!
🌸 Macaroni Kid has a new logo! You'll start seeing it on the website and newsletter, and I'm slowly converting all the other materials over on the site. The new logo gives us a more modern and inclusive look, and aligns our brand with the CertifiKID brand (who bought Macaroni Kid earlier this year.)
🗽 Memorial Day is the unofficial kick-off to summer, but don't forget to take some time to remember to those who died in service of our country this weekend too. For many families it is a reminder of a family member who is no longer with them. We see you and honor those who you've lost!
