🇲🇽 Celebrate Mexican Independence Day at Orchard Town Center

Live music, cultural performances, art and family fun come together for this free celebration

September 3, 2026

Mark your calendars for a colorful evening of music, culture, food and community! Orchard Town Center is hosting its first Mexican Independence Day Celebration on Saturday, Sept. 19, from 4–8 p.m., and families are invited to join the fun for free.

The celebration will bring Mexican culture and traditions to Orchard Town Center with an evening packed with live entertainment, local artists, food and activities for all ages.

🎶 Music, Dance & Culture

Local band Los Mocochetes will take the stage with live music, while guests can also catch cultural dance performances from No “Mo” Violence and Danza Kalpulli Yohualli Ehecatl.

Families can wander through an artisan market featuring local vendors, stop for crafts and activities, and grab dinner or drinks from Orchard Town Center restaurants including 3 Margaritas, Windfall Brewing Co., Lazy Dog and more.

🎨 Watch Local Art Come to Life

One especially cool part of the celebration: local father-and-son muralists Jerry Jaramillo and Jay Michael Jaramillowill create Mexican-themed murals during the event. The finished artwork will benefit No “Mo” Violence, adding a community-giving element to the evening.

🇲🇽 Make an Evening of It

Whether your family comes for the music and dancing, wants to explore the artisan market, or simply wants to enjoy dinner and something different together, this is an easy way to celebrate Mexican culture right here in our community.
