ProgressivEducation is a reading and writing therapeutic tutoring business to help with all your child literacy needs. I'm a licensed teacher with over sixteen years experience and am highly trained to work with kids of all abilities (Autism, ADHD, LD, Dyslexia, Dysgraphia, neurotypical, twice exceptional, and gifted). I work with all children ages PK-12th grade to support literacy needs. Services that I provide are: educational diagnostic testing, 1:1 tutoring, and small group tutoring. Your child and I can work on a variety of academic skills including: Orton-Gillingham phonics based reading, reading comprehension skills, spelling, writing skills, Handwriting Without Tears penmanship (print and cursive), Kindergarten readiness for reading and writing, or keyboarding. We will meet to come up with a comprehensive learning plan for your child that will be monitored on a weekly basis. Additionally, I collaborate with your child's school to ensure continuity of education whenever possible. Lastly, I'm a provider with North Metro Family Support Services and Imagine! and your child may qualify to have their educational sessions paid for through allocated funds.
