Camp Kind is a unique summer day camp located in Westminster, Colorado that is designed to encourage children to be kind to others and the environment by engaging in diverse and exciting volunteering projects. Our daily programs are tailored to provide age-appropriate activities that inspire character building and creativity.
At Camp Kind, campers get the opportunity to roll-up their sleeves and volunteer at local non-profit organizations, allowing for a better understanding of the services these organizations provide and the impact they can have on a community.
While back on campus, campers continue to provide kind services by participating in one of our many Kindness Workshops, where they will make and assemble valuable items for sick or underprivileged families and individuals.
Welcome weekly guest speakers who share their unique volunteer experiences and expand the camper’s appreciation for future volunteering. We offer short daily lessons and discussions about the values of kindness and various ways to get involved. Campers will spend time outdoors, where they will learn to appreciate nature through hikes, planting and up-close interactions with farm animals, insects and reptiles.
All of this is supplemented with additional activities including sports, arts & crafts and fun weekly field trips.

"I sent my two kids, ages 8 and 12, to Camp Kind. They both LOVED the camp! Benjy managed to make volunteering and helping others not only fun, but cool. My kids came home every day feeling very proud of the work that they had done - and asking to go back and volunteer some more! It was a wonderful experience for both kids."
