Preschoolers will boogie down with their favorite rock stars when the Yo Gabba Gabba! cast visit Nickelodeon’s Emmy-nominated live-action series The Fresh Beat Band in the new epic musical adventure “Yo! Fresh Beats Go Gabba Gabba!,” premiering Friday, June 8, 11:30 a.m.–12 p.m. (ET/PT) on Nickelodeon. In this special crossover episode, Plex the robot accidentally zaps the Gabba gang and the Fresh Beats to various exotic locales every time he hiccups.
In “Yo! Fresh Beats Go Gabba Gabba!,” DJ Lance Rock, Muno, Brobee, Foofa, and Plex from Yo Gabba Gabba! suddenly show up at the Singing Pizza Café where The Fresh Beat Band happily greet their new friends. The Gabba Gang was on their way to meet Toodee at the beach, but Plex had the hiccups and his antenna accidentally zapped them to the café. Every time Plex hiccups, the entire group gets zapped to different places including an icy landscape, underwater, outer space and the Wild West where they find the gear and have a whipped cream showdown to get it back. Along the way, they sing The Fresh Beat Band and Yo Gabba Gabba! hits and never-before-heard mashups of both series’ most popular songs. After the showdown, Plex zaps them one last time to the beach where they reunite with Toodee and perform a lively cover of Madonna’s "Holiday."
