Pigtails & Crewcuts' kid-centric salon, located in The Orchard Town Center, provides a fun, stress-free haircut experience for kids and parents. Locally owned, the salon aims to give parents the experience that the owners searched for—but couldn’t find—with their own children. Whether you’re looking for a quick buzz cut, a timeless bob, a heart-shaped braid or the latest ‘do, Pigtails & Crewcuts' professional stylists are here for you.
In the bright and cheerful salon, kids usually have so much fun they forget about the actual haircut. They’re too busy playing with the train table, toys, video games and Wii or watching a movie on one of the five flat screens. While getting their haircut, kids can sit in the famous chairs, including a fire truck, airplane, taxi and police car (they also have regular chairs for parents and older siblings). Each girls’ haircut includes hair glitter, ribbon, and your choice of a braid, pigtails or a ponytail. Boys can try out some cool spikey gel (it even comes in colors). Throughout the visit, kids enjoy treats galore (with parent’s permission, of course), including animal crackers, a lollipop and a trip to the exciting treasure chest.
