Memorial Day is the unofficial kick off of summer, filled with BBQ’s and lots of fun. But it’s important to remember that Memorial Day is a day of remembrance for the men and women who have died while serving our country in the U.S military. For many this is a somber day as they remember loved ones no longer with us, who have made the ultimate sacrifice. I’ve included several remembrance activities in this Memorial Day Guide to make it easy to take a little bit of time out of a fun holiday weekend to remember those that we honor on this weekend.
