Halloween has a chilly night in store for us this year, so I went hunting for warmer trick or treat options for you and your family! I was excited to learn that many local nursing homes and assisted living facilities have trick or treating!
I called all the local nursing homes and assisted living facilities, and found those holding community events:
- 🦇 Halloween Carnival and Trick or Treating at The Villas of Sunny Acres Senior Living (Thornton) - October 30 - 6:00pm - 7:30pm (Trick or Treat Street 6:00pm - 7:00pm; Halloween Carnival 6:00pm - 7:30pm)
- 🎃 Trick or Treating at Brookdale Brighton Assisted Living - October 31 - 1:30pm - 2:30pm [UPDATE: I spoke to someone at this location on Tuesday who said this event was happening, but a subscriber just called before heading out and they told her it wasn't happening. Sounds like there are some communication issues there, I'm so sorry if this messed up sometimes day!]
- 👻 Trick or Treating at Highland Trail Senior Center (Broomfield) - October 31 - 3:00pm - 4:30pm
- 🦇 Trick of Treating at Legend of Broomfield Senior Living - October 31 - 4:00pm
- 🎃 Halloween Event and Trick or Treating at Elms Haven Center (Thornton)- October 31 - 5:00pm - 7:00pm
- 👻 Halloween Party and Trick or Treating at Legacy Assisted Living (Lafayette) - October 31 - 5:30pm
I've confirmed all of the events with the facility as of October 29th, so details should be correct! But I've included a phone number with each event listing if you want to call and double check!
