🩰 Elevate Dance Center: Reshaping “Normal” in Dance Studio Life

By Susan Troy - Publisher, Thornton, Northglenn, East Westminster January 21, 2020

Elevate Dance Center fosters a lifelong love of dancing in students through well-rounded, age appropriate and cutting-edge dance education.

Elevate Dance Center is the area’s newest dance school, born from a desire for a kind of dance school that just didn’t exist in our part of town. They opened their doors to a few founding families in January 2018, and have been steadily growing since and are now home to almost one hundred families and 16 classes.

I think they've got a great mission: Simply put, we are changing lives for the better through dancing. We believe dance training is life training, and children who attend dance classes at Elevate Dance Center will have an elevated opportunity for success in life. We believe that in addition to teaching dance, it is our duty to nourish our dancers’ mind, body and spirit by promoting wholeness and balance in our students.

“The positive, empowering culture of our tribe is our fuel, because we know we’re not just building great dancers, but also great kids.” – Dena Cronholm, Elevate Dance Center Owner

Dena believes that you can:

  • Have a life outside of dance.
  • Play sports and dance.
  • Feel welcome in your studio all the time.
  • Get an experienced teacher in every class.
  • Become a great dancer without spending every weekend and dollar at dance competitions.
  • Be called a “dance mom” as a beautiful compliment.
  • Have great communication and get quick, clear answers to your questions.

“Elevate Dance Center is exactly what we were looking for in a dance studio. A schedule that met our needs, competitive pricing and teachers that want their dancers to enjoy dance while also allowing them to pursue other activities.

You can tell that Dena, the owner, has  poured her heart and soul into this dance studio and we could not be  happier to have found this gem!” - Happy Dance Mom
