🌸🌼🌻Garden in A Box On Sale Now - Native and Affordable Garden!

Professionally designed gardens tailored to Colorado soil and simple plant-by-number maps

April 15, 2020

[Update - April 15, 2020: Our plants did so well through the summer and fall last year, and we've loved watching them start to come up this year already. We have a couple beautiful purple blooms that have been highlight this spring so far!]

We’ve lived in our home now four years, and haven’t figured out what to plant in the backyard that will actually live through the season. Those beautiful hydrangeas the big box store had super cheap last year? Yeah those don’t grow well in Colorado, ugh, goodbye to the $80 we spent on those! 😭😭 And that wasn’t the only failure. We clearly have no idea what we’re doing, or how to get started, which is why we were so excited to hear about Garden in A Box!

No green thumb required. These professionally designed gardens are tailored to Colorado soil, and the simple plant-by-number maps take the guesswork out of buying and planting. The kits are super easy to use and just 100 sq foot garden can help you save around 7,000 gallons of water compared to a traditional grass lawn over the course of the garden's lifetime.

“This is like gardening for dummies, I love it! Thank you for saving me SO much time and effort by creating a garden that will improve my landscape, without demanding tons of water. It’s amazing to see these beautiful plants thriving.”

Since the kits use starter plants and not seeds, you’ll likely start to see results within the first year – and since they’re perennials, your blooms will keep getting better each year! (Check out this page on their website for a visual look at how the plants will grow over three years.)

💲💰 And they’re budget friendly! Starting at just $110, there’s a Garden In A Box to fit your budget. To sweeten the deal, the cities of Northglenn, Thornton and Westminster (plus LOTS more nearby towns) are offering a limited number of $25 discounts to encourage water conservation. The garden kits sell out quickly so visit ResourceCentral.org/Gardens today and spend time enjoying your yard this summer.

Our family got two boxes last year and we're LOVING them! Pickup couldn't have been easier, my husband pulled up and they loaded the two flats into the back of our SUV, and off he went. We had a ton of plants, so it definitely took some time to get them in the ground, but the directions they gave were really easy to follow. I was also excited to see that they include information on how to care for your plants throughout the seasons. That's something I have absolutely no idea how to do - pruning, deadheading, etc - and now I do thanks to Garden in a Box! The area we were planting in was a little more narrow than the plotted diagrams they gave us, but it helped us see what to put together with what other plants.

“Super easy to learn about, order, pick up. The planting guides were very helpful. I have not lost a single plant of the 3 boxes (~70+ plants) that I planted. I would HIGHLY recommend Garden In a Box to others and have already done so!”

🌱 Your perfect yard is just three steps away.
