On Saturday, August 7th, Thornton residents are invited to attend the one-day Fill A Backpack event at Thornton Community Connections - 100% free of charge!
Students will receive a backpack and school supplies in this take-what-you-need style event.
School supplies are subject to availability and may include:
- new or gently-used backpacks
- writing utensils: crayons, markers, #2 pencils, highlighters, blue and black ink pens
- glue sticks
- college-and wide-ruled looseleaf paper
- 3-ring binders of all sizes
- spiral notebooks
- scissors
- rulers
- protractors.
Students must be present and live in Thornton to receive supplies. Proof of Thornton address is required. This event is made possible by Community Connections.
