On Saturday, August 21, join Bicycle Colorado, North Metro Fire Rescue, and the City of Northglenn for a morning of bicycle fun. The annual youth "bike rodeo" is an opportunity for kids of all ages to practice an assortment of bicycle (or scooter) maneuvering and safety skills including starting, stopping, riding in a straight motion, weaving, and signaling.
Educators will be on-site to help children learning to glide and pedal for the first time.
The "bike rodeo" will take place at City Hall in the east parking lot from 9 to 11 am. Bring your own bike or borrow one at the event.
Don't have a bicycle?
Kids can swing by the event for a FREE used, refurbished bicycle. Bikes are available on a first-come, first-served basis starting at 9 am.
