Thornton Hosts 6th Annual Día de los Muertos Cultural Celebration

Thornton’s Arts & Culture Division and Thornton Arts Sciences and Humanities Council (TASHCO) will host their 6th annual Día de los Muertos Cultural Celebration on Saturday, November 5. Save the date!


Day of the Dead Cultural Celebration
Saturday, November 5th | 12 pm to 5 pm
McAllister Park Center at 750 W 96th Ave, Thornton


This cultural experience is a free family-friendly event for our community to remember and honor their deceased loved ones with food, flowers, music, and stories. Admission is FREE!

Activities include face painting, stilt walking, a strolling magician, youth dancers, food vendors, live Mariachi and Salsa music, ofrendas (offerings), and a Katrina costume contest. Door prizes and other giveaways will occur throughout the day.
