Calling all aspiring youth ages 5–18! The cities of Thornton and Northglenn have teamed up to offer an opportunity to show off your amazing talents and compete against other youth from the metro area. Both individuals and groups (no more than 4 participants) are welcome to participate.
The competition includes the following categories:
- Voice includes singers performing to a recorded track or acapella.
- Music includes any instrument and/or combination of instrument and voice
- Dance includes any traditional dance styles such as ballet, tap, jazz, hip hop, lyrical, ethnic, etc.
- Variety includes any performance-based piece such as juggling, comedy, interpretive reading, martial arts, acrobatics, magic, ventriloquism, drama, etc.
Prizes will be awarded in the following age groups:
- Grades K – 2
- Grades 3 – 5
- Grades 6 – 8
- Grades 9 – 12
Medals are awarded to the top three finalists in each age group. The 1st place winner in each category will go on to compete in the Regional Grand Finale against finalists from participating communities around the Denver metro area.

Auditions
Due to the popularity of this event, all acts will go through an audition process by appointment only (click here for appointments).
- February 1 @ 4-7 pm, Trail Winds Rec Center | Thornton
- February 2 @ 4-7 pm, Parsons Theatre | Northglenn
If selected to perform there is a $6 entry fee.
Dress Rehearsal
All selected acts must attend the dress rehearsal in order to compete in the finals.
