Character interactions
Hanging out with Nickelodeon characters is a huge perk of staying at this resort. There are so many opportunities for your kiddos to meet some of their favorites.
We got to meet Dora and Boots, Sponge Bob and Patrick, members of the Paw Patrol, Fairly Odd Couple, and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.
We did character meet and greets on the orange carpet, enjoyed a fabulous character breakfast, and partied with the characters at one of their evening dance parties!

Waterpark for all ages
Aqua Nick has been thoughtfully designed for families to all enjoy their experience while at the resort. It’s separated into three sections, mostly by age-appropriate features, and every section has fun “thrill” rides.
Hang out with your youngest kids in the Paw Patrol Adventure Bay, relax in a lounge chair while your older kids enjoy the Nickelodeon water playground with water slides, and send your oldest off to the big water slides for thrills and adrenaline.
Weaving through the entire water park you’ll find two lazy rivers – one a traditional lazy river and the other an adventure river with fun waves.

Throughout Aqua Nick families will find four Aqua Bite food service options (included in your all-inclusive stay), which will keep the kids full and happy during your water park day.

Large suites with ocean views
Suites at the resort have been designed just for families!
All rooms include two full bathrooms, both with a shower and one with a big tub, which is so helpful with kids.
Each room also has a beautiful balcony and swim-out pool overlooking the ocean. And the balconies have a handy built-in gate so you can have half of the window open without worrying about the kids.
Have a family of five? This resort can accommodate you all in one suite, which I know is hard to find!

We had the opportunity to tour two of the specialty suites during our visit and they are huge and amazing!
These suites are three bedrooms plus a murphy bed, and an additional standard suite can be added on. It would be perfect for multiple families or a multi-generation get-together.

Abundant and delicious food options
One of the best perks for moms on vacation is not having to prepare and clean up from what feels like a thousand meals a day. But unfortunately, you still have to think about where you’ll feed your kiddos when they get hungry every five seconds. Not at NickelodeonTM Hotels & Resorts Riviera Maya!
The resort offers six beautifully themed restaurants to satisfy all the cravings, plus 24-hour room service for those relaxing in your room moments. The food is whimsical and delicious, and there is so much variety everyone in your family will surely find something they love.
