Spark Music Lessons fall group lessons are now open for registration!
Classes are offered in 8-week sessions and are $10-$12 per class and located at the Summit of Peace Church: 4661 E 136th Ave in Thornton (near 136th & Holly).
Spark Music Group Lessons
Baby Steps Into Music (3 months to 12 months)
This course covers a wide variety of playful wiggles, tickles, bounces, lullabies, tapping, clapping, songs, games, rhymes, and more to engage baby in music.
Toddler Steps Into Music (1 yrs to 3 yrs)
This course covers a wide variety of playful tickles, pitch explorations, fingerplays, bounces, beat motions, songs, games, rhymes, and more.
Preschool Steps Into Music (3 yrs to 5 yrs)
An engaging and playful class for Preschoolers and parent(s) focusing on experiencing music early and often to build the neural pathways needed for a musically successful life.
Creative Music (5 yrs to 12 yrs)
This unique course allows students to immerse themselves in creating music and having a say in artistic decisions.
Adventure Ukulele Level 1 (Grades 2-5)
Each class is a new adventure and includes:
- Pirate Treasure Hunt: first chords are discovered in a scavenger hunt to treasure!
- Jungle Escape: Solve ‘ukulele puzzles to escape the deep, dark jungle.
- Choose Your Own Adventure: Choose your unique path as you prove your mad ‘ukulele skills!
Uke Box Level 1 (Grades 6-8)
This middle school course allows students to immerse themselves in learning ‘ukulele. Each student is allowed to move at their own pace and given guidance as they learn each new skill.
About Spark Music Lessons
Danielle Hoffman, the owner of Spark Music Lessons, was born in Maryland and started music early by banging on her grandparent's piano. She began formal piano lessons at age six and clarinet lessons at age 12. She has obtained a Bachelor of Music in Music Education from the University of Florida, and a Master of Music in Clarinet Performance from West Chester University of Pennsylvania. In addition to almost 14 years of teaching private lessons, she has experience with K-12 general music, choir, band, and orchestra. Ms. Hoffman holds a current teaching certification for Music K-12 in Colorado, and previously held a K-12 Music certification from Florida, Pennsylvania, and Maryland. She is a member of the American Orff-Schulwerk Association (AOSA) and the Rocky Mountain Orff Chapter.
