Strum, beat, and play your way through the Swallow Hill Music Instrument Petting Zoo. Try out ukuleles, hand drums, guitars, mandolins, banjos, fiddles, mini-pianos, and more!

December 1 @ 4 pm ~ Ages 5-12 ~ Registration Required
Blast off into the past to discover the food, art, people, and events that have shaped history. This month, we will reverse course and travel to the near or distant future! Craft a light-up paper helicopter, design a robot, and snack on freeze-dried rations.

Discover the unique attributes that help birds survive in their habitats, and then design your own bird and its habitat using a variety of materials.

Join us for a fun cooking program with Sticky Fingers Cooking. Follow a recipe inspired by the book "Sneezy the Snowman" by Maureen Wright and make Sneezy’s Cinnamon Swirl cupcakes, sugar-free ice cream in a bag, and hot cocoa.
📸 Family Portraits with Kaela Green

Local photographer Kaela Green will take beautiful family portraits. Photographed families will receive digital photo files and one 8 x 10 print will be made available for pick up from Anythink Huron Street within a couple of weeks.

Meet live reindeer at the library! A rancher from Hahn Reindeer Farm will show off his animals and answer any questions. Enjoy winter treats and warm drinks, play reindeer games, and create fun crafts.
🎵 Holiday Caroling with the Original Dickens Carolers | York

Celebrate the season in the Victorian tradition. Enjoy holiday songs and stories performed by the Original Dickens Carolers of Denver.

What is a mammal? Can all birds fly? How are fish able to breathe? Through costumes, activities, and hands-on demonstrations with museum specimens, we will explore the distinguishing features of these special creatures.

Join us for a trivia game just for kids and compete as a team to win prizes! Come prepared with your team of five players or join a team when you arrive. Most trivia questions will be multiple-choice.
