We had the opportunity to visit the new Bugs exhibit at The Denver Museum of Nature and Science and we all loved it! The exhibit was stunning, fascinating and so engaging, I think my kids spent two hours discovering everything, which is the longest I think they've ever stayed in one museum exhibit before.
I think the storytelling in the exhibit is what kept us there so long too. Several pods specific to enthralling animals are part of the exhibit, and they really immerse you in their story. Some are beautiful and some are a little shocking. I highly recommend taking your kids to visit!
Visit the Denver Museum of Nature & Science between March 10th and August 27th to enter an interactive world full of bugs.
This amazing exhibition is bigger, better, and buggier than ever! Guests will have the chance to explore the fascinating world of nature's true heroes with hands-on activities for all ages.
Adventure awaits! Save a Japanese honeybee hive from an invading hornet, spot a camouflaged orchid mantis in her secret garden before she spears you for lunch, and make your own paper insect to watch it fly in a wind tunnel.
From immersive activities that get you thinking to hands-on games that get you moving, "Bugs" inspires guests to be curious about the tiny-but-mighty creatures among us, appreciative of the vital role they play in the natural world, and energized to help them thrive.
