Publisher's Note - June 15th - Switching to Thursdays

June 15, 2023

Hello Macaronians!

A few changes rolling out this week! You've probably already noticed the first change - we have a new newsletter format! Our HQ team has been hard at work creating this new template for us, and I love how it highlights the events right at the top. We can highlight upcoming events too, which is something we've been wanting to do for you for a long time.

The second change is that we're going to start publishing on Thursday mornings. I have a team helping Macaroni KID Thornton, Northglenn, Westminster run smoothly and not take over my life (because I love you, but I can't sit in front of my computer ALL the time!) and we're streamlining some of our processes, which resulted in us moving publication day to Thursday. If you have feedback on this change I'd love to hear it!

How was your week? Did you attend any fun festivals or fairs with your families? There are so many this time of year!

Our kids have been at The Giggling Life Care Farm a lot this week, they're both showing animals at county fair with the Boots and Buckles 4H group at the farm, and are doing lots of preparations as we get closer to the big event. My son has also been attending the Brighton Fire Camp this week and it LOVING it! Big should out to Macaroni KID Brighton for sharing about that one!

We're going to squeeze in some Father's Day fun for my husband this weekend between some 4H and football activities. Looks like Sunday will actually be a nice day so maybe we'll get out for a hike or stop by a favorite brewery.

Next week our kids are at overnight camp and I am so excited to have a whole week in our house just the two of us! We're planning to hit up brewery and restaurant happy hours every night, and live in our house without being asked questions every second or having to prepare food for an army. It's going to be so fun, and I know the kids will have the best time while they're away!

That's it for me this week, I hope you have a great week making wonderful memories with your families!

Peace, love and macaroni,

Susan
