Hello from Vail!
We're enjoying a kid free week while our kids are at overnight camp and having the time of their lives! We've been enjoying some quiet relaxation time while the kids are gone, but we can't wait to hear all about their adventures this week at camp!
Were you following along on social media while we were at the Adams County Fair? It was a successful first 4H year! We learned a LOT and already have some ideas of what next year will look like.
Both kids are all-in to show animals again, and my daughter wants to do goats now too, but at least we know what to expect this time. We were there so much this year, which I wasn't expecting, but next year I'll block out the full week to participate. And while we're there we're also going to join in on some of the fun, like the demolition derby and concerts!
Don't have space for animals but want your kids to have the opportunity to do animal projects with 4H like we did? The Giggling Life Care Farm's 4H club - Boots and Buckles - offers a really unique opportunity to lease an animal for the year. It's a HUGE learning experience, and the Boots and Buckles club has been a really fun addition to our slate of activities.
