Northglenn Youth & Teens Gingerbread House Competition

Provided Supplies
Contestants will receive the following to help start their house:
- A Gingerbread House kit that includes pre-baked house sides and roof, icing, and decorative candy.
- A rectangular table, about 2ft by 6ft.
- A disposable tablecloth and dropcloth to help protect the table and floor.
Permitted Supplies
Contestants can bring the following to help individualize their house:
- Unconstructed gingerbread additions made at home
- Scissors, spoons, plastic spatulas to help open containers and spread icing.
- A board to take your creation home.
Rules
- Registration/Teams - Contestants must be signed up IN ADVANCED via RecTrac in order to participate.
- Teams can only include up to 4 team members. If a family wants to participate, at least 1 team member must be between the ages of 10 and 17.
- Parents participating can only provide assistance to children, and cannot build the house for their child(ren).
- Supplies - Participants can only use provided supplies, permitted supplies, and the surprise addition(s). Participants using non-approved supplies may be disqualified.
- Teams are not permitted to interact with each other's competition submissions.
