Join the City of Brighton for a fun-filled evening at the annual City Barbecue on Thursday, July 18th, from 5:30 PM to 8:00 PM at Carmichael Park (650 E. Southern Street).
This free community event marks Brighton's 137th birthday and offers residents a chance to:
- Meet City Council members and learn about upcoming projects.
- Get information from city departments, local organizations, and nonprofits.
- Enjoy live music from Titonic, a Funk/Rock/Dance band, performing at 6 PM as part of the City's summer Flix & Kicks series.
- Support young entrepreneurs! Youths who completed the Young Entrepreneurship Program will showcase their businesses and sell their products.
Free meals will be available while supplies last. Don't forget to bring your picnic blanket, lawn chairs, sunscreen, bug spray, and water to relax and enjoy the evening!
