5th Graders Showcase "Superpowers of Trees" - Arbor Day Poster Contest

Calling all 5th graders! 🌳The Colorado Tree Coalition (CTC) is hosting its annual Arbor Day Poster Contest, and this year's theme is The Superpowers of Trees!  

5th grade artists, use your creativity to show us how trees clean our air and water, shade our homes, and provide habitats for wildlife.  Let's see those superpowers come to life! 🌟

🌲Quick Contest Overview:

  • Who: All Colorado 5th graders (public, private, or homeschool)
  • What: Create a poster showing "The Superpowers of Trees!"
  • When: Deadline is March 28, 2025
  • Where: Submit your poster to the Colorado Tree Coalition via your school or parent if homeschooled (address below).
  • Why: Awesome prizes! 1st place wins $500, a framed poster, and a ceremony at Denver Botanic Gardens! 2nd and 3rd place get cash prizes too! Winning posters will be showcased at Denver Botanic Gardens from April 16 to May 15.

🌲Important Details:

  • Only one poster per school. (Each school/classroom is encouraged to decide on the best poster for the entire school.)
  • Artwork must be original and on 12" x 18" paper.
  • Use crayons, markers, paint, colored pencils – get creative!
  • No collages, computer-generated art, or glued-on items.
  • Full name, grade, school, teacher info on the back.
