This powerful initiative—now in its 14th year—is hosted by the Brighton Youth Commission and focuses on teen suicide prevention and mental health awareness

โžก๏ธThrough open conversation, education, and action, the goal is to break the stigma, build understanding, and support those affected by mental health challenges.

๐Ÿง  MONDAY, APRIL 28 – QPR Suicide Prevention Training

๐Ÿ“ Brighton City Hall, 500 S 4th Ave
๐Ÿ•› Sessions at 12:00 PM & 6:00 PM
โœ… FREE 75-minute training
Learn the QPR method (Question, Persuade, Refer) to help someone in crisis. These essential tools could help save a life.


๐ŸšซWEDNESDAY, APRIL 30 – Gun Safety + Mental Health Discussion

๐Ÿ“ Brighton Armory Performing Arts Center, 300 Strong St
๐Ÿ•• 6:00 PM
Join Ceasefire Colorado, the Brighton Police Department, and School District 27J for a powerful discussion on gun violence awareness, youth safety, and suicide prevention.


๐Ÿƒ‍โ™€๏ธ SATURDAY, MAY 3 – The 14th Annual SPEAK Walk

๐Ÿ“ Carmichael Park
๐ŸŽ‰ Pre-walk festivities begin at 9:00 AM
๐Ÿ‘Ÿ Walk to raise awareness, honor lives lost, and stand in solidarity with our youth.
๐ŸŽฝ Registration: $20 (Adults) / $15 (Students)
๐ŸŽ Includes a swag bag with t-shirt, SPEAK candle, and resources (pickup day of event)
