The Giggling Life Care Farm is special for a lot of reasons, but the most important one is Kristi – the owner. She has a BS in psychology and a master’s in education, has studied life coaching for the last eight years, and is certified in Equine Assisted Coaching and Pet Therapy.
Kristi creates a safe place for children to work the earth and care for animals while healing the mind and body through agricultural and animal-based activities.
Kristi believes that children should learn the importance of living each day with gratitude, believing in themselves, being kind, finding their passions, and believing they can achieve their dreams - and she helps them learn this with animals! But she doesn’t just focus on self-growth and empowerment. She also helps kids learn how to get through difficult times, work through self-confidence issues, and deal with grief too.
The Giggling Life Farm is a lively property with horses, a pony, two donkeys, a small steer, dogs, pigs, lambs, bunnies, ducks, and lots of chickens!

Summer Camp at the Giggling Life Care Farm
Camp at The Giggling Life Care Farm is a hands-on program designed for children of all ages to work together in completing everyday tasks on the farm, all while teaching them very important life skills! All projects are done outside in the pasture while learning about how to properly interact with, take care of, exercise, groom, and love the animals. Activities include:
- Learning proper interaction skills with the animals
- How to properly feed, groom, and exercise all animals
- How to clean animal stalls
- Relationship building and trust exercises with the animals
- Setting and achieving goals while working as a team
- Learning anatomy and other information about each of the animals
- Coaching exercises with animals on how to overcome obstacles, build confidence, trust, and patience
- Equine Spa Day
2024 Programs
This year, The Giggling Life will be hosting the following Summer Programs:
2-Day Farm Fun Program, $160 per week ($90 for drop-ins), Ages 4 - 16
Monday/Wednesday OR Tuesday/Thursday, each week throughout the summer, includes three hours of fun!
- Ages 4-6 - Start time: 8:30am-11:30am (full-day option will end at 2:30, available every other week)
- Ages 7 -10 - Start time: 9:00am-12:00pm (full-day option will end at 3:00, available every other week)
- Ages 11-16 - Start Time: 9:30am-12:30pm (full-day option will end at 3:30, available every other week)
4-Day Farm Fun Program, $320/week ($90 for drop-ins), Ages 4 - 16
Monday-Thursday each week throughout the summer, includes 3 hours of fun with the animals and lessons of the week
- Ages 4-6 - Start time: 8:30am-11:30am (full-day option will end at 2:30, available every other week)

Half-Day Horse Camp, $390/week ($105 drop-in), Ages 4 - 16
Monday-Thursday 9am-12:00pm
The kids will be learning to groom, lead, take care of, halter, saddle, and ride horses.
4-Day All-Day Horse Camp, $650/week ($170 drop-in), Ages 4 - 16
Monday-Thursday 9am-3pm
The kids will be learning to groom, lead, take care of, halter, saddle, and ride horses.
Tiny Tots, $80/week ($45 drop-in), Ages 18 mos - 3
Monday/Wednesday 9:30am - 11pm
