Between weekly themes, trips to the pool, museums, and more exciting field trips, camp days are packed with new experiences and fun!
Get full day care at $397 per week, two field trips, and all activities and meals included!

One Week, Endless Adventures
Kitchen Creations: Rising 1st–6th graders will dive into the world of cooking with their Karter School Chefs. This can be a deep dive into a culinary week-long camp or a one-off class for all our weeks of camp.

Science Lab: Rising 1st–6th graders collaborate on daily design challenges in our Science Lab, where wild experimentation reigns, and breaking apart what you build is all part of the fun.

Indoor Gym: Karter Schools of Thornton’s indoor gym hosts dynamic sports camps, buzzing with budding athletes honing skills and teamwork amidst versatile layouts and top-notch equipment. Vibrant murals energize the space, setting the scene for focused training and passionate sportsmanship.

Bowling Alley: At Karter Schools of Thornton, the four-lane bowling alley caters specifically to kids, offering a vibrant and engaging space for youthful bowling enthusiasts to enjoy their strikes and spares.

Outdoor Adventure: Rising 1st–6th graders head outdoors every day to play exciting team-building games, engage in classic camp activities and explore how to innovate from head to toe.

Two Field Trips Per Week: Let’s explore the area and let our students travel and go everywhere, from museums to recording studios and more

Water Day: Each week, our students will go to the local watering hole to swim with their friends and camp counselors.

Theme Days: From color days to spirit weeks. Our students will be having fun, Karter FUN, each week!

Care Offered
Karter School of Thornton offers a variety of services, including:
- Early Childhood Education: Karter School provides a nurturing and stimulating environment for children ages 6 weeks to 6 years old. They have infant, toddler, and preschool programs, along with a Private Elementary Program for Kindergarten and 1st grade.
- Universal Prekindergarten (UPK): Karter School of Thornton has been approved for UPK and has several spots available! The UPK program offers all Colorado children 4 years old on or before October 1, 2023 15 hours of UPK programming per week during the school year.
- Afterschool & School Break Program: Karter Schools provide year-round programs for school-age children— including afterschool clubs, fun field trips for teacher work days, and weeklong camps for winter and spring breaks.
- Summer Camps: Karter Schools grows along with kids, delivering just the right mix of challenge and fun from kindergarten through 6th grade in their summer camps.
