Description
Thornton's Healthy Farmer's Markets have operated annually since 2018 with the goal of addressing food insecurity in our community. Markets will be held from June 27-October 3 on Tuesdays and Thursdays at two sites: Carpenter Recreation Center on Tuesdays and McAllister Park on Thursdays.
- Tuesday markets will offer fresh produce for purchase and $25 vouchers for SNAP, WIC, Medicaid recipients, and seniors.
- Thursday markets will distribute fresh produce boxes, replacing the vouchers typically provided.
- Community and health resources will be provided on both days.
