Summer is here and that means it's time for Independence Day celebrations! Many Americans honor this historical day with parades, fireworks, BBQs, and of course some red, white, and blue.
We've gathered all of the local 4th of July events in one place for you to maximize your family fun over the next couple of weeks.

WEDNESDAY, JULY 3
Adams County Stars & Stripes Celebration
(BRIGHTON)
Riverdale Regional Park - 4pm to 10pm - This free celebration is presented by Ward Electric. Food and beer vendors will begin serving at 4 p.m. Live entertainment with country singer Thomas Mac begins at 7:30 p.m. The night will end with musical fireworks at 9:30 p.m.
THURSDAY, JULY 4
Northglenn July 4th Festival
(NORTHGLENN)
EB Rains Jr. Memorial Park - 12pm to 10pm - Celebrate America's birthday at the July 4th Festival. Some call this event the city's largest family picnic as families and friends bring out their blankets and picnic baskets to get a great seat for the annual fireworks program.
City of Westminster 4th of July Celebration
(WESTMINSTER)
Westminster City Park - Don’t miss the best fireworks display in the north metro area! Get there early—activities start at 4 p.m. Concert begins at 7 p.m. and the fireworks go off at 9:15 p.m. There will be a FREE shuttle bus from many locations in Westminster.
Thornton 4th of July Event
(THORNTON)
Carpenter Park Fields - The party starts at noon! Enjoy food and entertainment throughout the day, followed by Parachutists Jump at 9:30pm and "Red, White & BOOM!" FANTABULOUS Firework.
TUESDAY, JULY 2
Glendale Fireworks Display (GLENDALE)
Infinity Park - FREE! - Enjoy food trucks and fun in celebration of Independence Day. Gates will open at 6:30 PM. Independence Day Movie starts at 7:00 PM. Fireworks will launch at 9:30pm.
WEDNESDAY, JULY 3
Erie Fireworks Show
(ERIE)
Erie Community Park - Independence Day festivities in the Town of Erie have varied and changed over time. From parades to concerts, speeches and baseball games to pie eating and pageants. But one thing has always been constant; a celebration among friends and family under an illuminated sky. Event parking begins at 6 PM, Fireworks go off at 9 PM.
Red, White, & You (LITTLETON)
Clement Park - FREE! - Live musical entertainment, community exhibitor booths, kid-friendly zone, food vendors, beer & wine garden, and fireworks. Rain or shine! Event kicks off at 5 PM, concert goes live at 7 PM and fireworks at 9:30 PM.
THURSDAY, JULY 4
Colorado Rockies vs. Milwaukee Brewers with Postgame Fireworks Show (DENVER)
Coors Field - Tickets start at $33 - You may be familiar with the saying, "Baseball, hot dog, apple pie, and Chevrolet, they go together in the good ol' USA." Get your fill of baseball and hot dogs at Coors Field in downtown Denver. Stick around after each game for a post-game fireworks show presented by Coca-Cola and King Soopers.
Fourth of July Celebration at Carmichael Park (BRIGHTON)
Carmichael Park - FREE - The City of Brighton’s popular annual Fourth of July Celebration will be making its return to Carmichael Park (650 E. Southern Street) on Thursday, July 4. The event will include a live DJ and concert, as well as a bubble tower and free face painting for the kids!
At the conclusion of the concert, attendees are encouraged to look to the sky for one of the region’s largest firework displays. Food will be available for purchase through food trucks.
Fourth of July Spectacular (AURORA)
Aurora Municipal Center - FREE! - This event will be complete with food trucks, a variety of musical performances, and a large fireworks show! Fireworks will light up the sky at 9:30 PM.
Breckenridge Firework-Free Independence Day Celebration
(BRECKENRIDGE)
Main Street Breckenridge- Festivities include an Independence Day 10K, Strider Bike Race, parade, Firecracker 50, Cirque de USA, Reading of the Declaration of Independence, and live music including a performance from the National Repertory Orchestra.
Broomfield Great American Picnic, Bike Parade, & Fireworks
(BROOMFIELD)
Spend your Fourth of July with your family, friends, and Broomfield neighbors at the 2024 Great American Picnic and Fireworks! Starting at 5 p.m. at Broomfield County Commons Park, there will be fun for the whole family, with inflatables, concessions and food vendors and a beer garden for those 21+. Add a creative spin to your holiday in the one-of-a-kind Bike Parade, then enjoy the show with music starting at 6 p.m. The evening ends with a bang with fireworks set off at 9:15 p.m.
Park Hill 4th of July Parade (DENVER)
Park Hill - FREE! - Stretching from Dexter St. to Krameria St., this year’s parade will include more than 50 groups, including floats, marching bands, costumed characters, classic cars, and more!
The Park Hill Parade starts at 1:30 p.m. The parade is held in northeast Denver’s historic Park Hill neighborhood, one of the city’s largest, oldest, and most diverse areas.
The United States Air Force Academy Band (DILLON)
Dillon Amphitheater - FREE! - The United States Air Force Academy Concert Band proudly represents the Air Force Academy, the leading institution for educating, training, and inspiring men and women to become officers of character. The Concert Band is composed of 50 active-duty Air Force professionals and is one of nine Academy Band ensembles. Doors open at 5:30 PM & Show begins at 6:30 PM.
4th of July Independence Day Celebration (ENGLEWOOD)
Belleview Park & Cornerstone Park - FREE! - Enjoy local business vendors, food trucks, music, and activities for the whole family. Event is from 5 PM - 10 PM.
Estes Park 4th of July Celebration
(ESTES PARK)
Estes Park Events Complex- MOSTLY FREE! - Pack a picnic and enjoy gorgeous mountain views, stroll the shops and Riverwalk, and show your spirit by taking part in one of the many events taking place around town! There will be live music, a car show, and fireworks over Lake Estes.
Greeley Stampede Independence Day Parade
(GREELEY)
The Greeley Stampede hosts a Fourth of July parade that attracts thousands of attendees and over 150 floats, acts, and marching bands.
Superior 4th of July Festivities
(SUPERIOR)
Community Park - Experience a day filled with family-friendly events and patriotic spirit! We invite you to join in the many festivities as Superior celebrates our nation's independence with red, white and blue fun for everyone! This year's event includes a community parade, pancake festival, kickball tournament championship, and a community BBQ. The parade kicks off the events at 8:30 AM.
FRIDAY, JULY 5
Elitch Gardens Fireworks (DENVER)
Elitch Gardens - Day tickets start at $49.99 - Spend the day riding coasters or splashing at the water park. Stick around until the park's closing to see fireworks across the Denver skyline.
SATURDAY, JULY 6
Independence Day Celebration at Four Mile Historic Park (DENVER)
Four Mile Historic Park - Tickets are Free - $10 - Join the community for a fun-filled day of prairie games, live music, crafts, historical re-enactors, food trucks, and live demonstrations.
