(AGES 4-17) Day Camps & Overnight Camps ~ If your kids enjoy learning, playing hard, and spending time in the great outdoors, then our Bird Camps are for them! All camps are about getting kids outside to have fun and explore nature while making friends, developing leadership skills, and gaining insights into their relationships with themselves, others, and the world around them.

Camp Fernwood is an all-girls residential summer camp located in Poland, Maine for campers ages 7 to 15. Founded in 1921, Camp Fernwood is rooted in the four principles of living simply, enjoying the beauty and wonder of natural surroundings, nurturing tolerance and unselfishness, and developing loving, lifelong friendships.

Camp Fernwood's 6.5 week, single-session program is intentional, allowing for friendships to form, independence and resilience to develop, and girls to fully immerse themselves in the complete camp experience.

(AGES 4-16) If your kids love animals, you need to check out The Giggling Life Care Farm in Thornton for summer activities! Camp at The Giggling Life Care Farm is a hands-on program designed for children of all ages to work together in completing everyday tasks on the farm, all while teaching them very important life skills. All projects are done outside in the pasture while learning about how to properly interact with, take care of, exercise, groom, and love the animals. 2-day and 4-day programs are available, along with horse camps and tiny tots programming!
